With an download manager, you are able to download all the web pages of an Internet site and all the associated graphics and sounds and save them on your hard drive. You are able to view the downloaded sites later on, offline. With some of these managers, you can specify how depth you want to download the site, you can ask to check when you are online if a site is updated and so on.
